You can only have a computer on one workgroup. Workgroups are configured on the PC itself, not the network card. The only thing you could do is have 2 NICs and set the IP addresses on them so they are on different subnets. That way the computers on different subnets couldn't see each other, even though they are on the same workgroup.

What are you trying to accomplish? If you're trying to separate two groups, you don't need separate workgroups, just arrange the folder permissions on the server to accommodate the groups.
Of course, it would help if you told us the actual probelm you're trying to solve. ![]()
