Setting up network at home

Ok, I'm sure many with think that this is too simple a question for the forum, but I'm going to ask anyway.
I have a laptop running Vista and a PC running XP in my home. They both have access to my wireless router for internet. The router plugs into the modem. Ok, I need to be able to print from my laptop. The printer is connected to the PC. I have read several articles, but I just get lost. Can anyone direct me to some "simple" "easy to follow" instructions on how to get my printer to "share" with both the PC and the Laptop.
