i keep getting random disconnects constantly and it won't stay online for more then maybe 2 minutes? before reconnecting in a couple seconds then redisconnecting i've tried disconnecting resetting the power restarting my computer pretty much everything i can think of even went into command prompt and did the reset commands this forum recommended.

Try booting in Safe Mode with Networking and running the following test.


Register at DSLReports and run their Line Quality Tests. It's best to run this test with a direct wired connection to eliminate any wireless issues from the results. i think it's a vista issue because i hooked it up to my friend's computer that runs on xp and it ran fine?

Run the line quality tests with the different computer connected, that will tell you for sure if it's the computer or the line.

The line quality results look pretty bad!

i fixed it =) turns out it was my computer and a vista problem..needed about 6 hrs but i got it eventually =D
