LAN Settings

My LAN settings keep switching from "Auto Configuration" to "Use a proxy server for your LAN. How to fix? I have the same problem with IE 7 & IE 8

are you on a buisness network? could be a GPO setting this.

Remove your system form the domain and regoin the system on domain. Its due to GPO implementaion.

Umm, i would not be unjoining the domain.

If you rejoin, you will get the gpo applied again and the settings will return.
