Problem with opening links...please help!!

I recently had a Worm on my computer, something named W32. something, sorry I cant recall. I must of got rid of it...because it isn't showing I have it anymore. Anyways heres the problem when I open up a link, say for example google, it will ALWAYS redirect me to one of the pages, something about a missing link? Or something named JUMP Video. ALso when I click a link, it opens up a new tab...I dont want that....I'm using Mozilla firefox by the way. Thanks.

Does it do the same thing in IE?

Yes, it does, it also has ads named "Vimax" popping up on websites. Also my internet is generally slower. I have a HijackThis log if you need it, thank you for help me.
