Share Printer via Wireless with XP/Vista

I have a Vista laptop and XP desktop - the latter is hooked up to a Lexmark Z23 printer.

I have a wireless router called a Livebox

I have a feeling Lexmark have not provided a driver for Vista so the laptop will not print even though I may be able to get a link to it via networking - Can someone help me with this networking with Vista laptop and XP desktop to share printers via wireless.

I may have to buy another printer ?

The issue is the same whether you connect via a wireless or wired connection.

To share a printer between different OSs, you need drivers for each OS. If you can't use the printer directly connected to the laptop, you won't be able to use it on the network, either.

I've checked, and I cannot find a Vista driver for the Z23 either. I fear that you are out of luck, and may well have to buy a new printer. Can I hazard a guess that it won't be a Lexmark?
