network making help
Hi
I have two computers, one on XP and the other on Vista. The XP has a printer hardwired to it (it is not wireless printer just USB) and this computer is hardwired to a wireless router. The Vista computer has no printer attached, we only have one printer in house, and is setup wireless to the router through a wireless usb key. Is there anyway of using my XP to share the printer? I understand that it may need to be kept on all the time for this to occur but i do not know how to do it. I have looked on google search and all methods give wireless printer setups. Please can anyone help. I understand this is probably easy for most if not all people on this forum, but could really do with a step by step guide. I also wouldn't mind sharing files etc through this between the computers. Thanks for your help in advance Notay |
