Wireless latency issues
Hey,
I've spent some time reading various threads in a hope to resolve my issues.... I have a wireless network provided by a linksys wrt54gs router, on the network is the following Media machine - Vista home premium SP1 (connected over ethernet) Laptop - Vista home premium SP1 (wireless connection) Desktop - Vista business SP1 (wireless connection) Now the issue is this, the desktop machine has a internet connection speed of around 150kbs, the laptop has a speed of around 2000kbs and the media machine has similar speeds as the laptop (2000kbs) I'm using a pci wireless network card from buffalo and vista is using it's own broadcom drivers for it. I've so far been reluctant to update the router firmware as the other pc's have a good connection. Any help would be appreciated greatly. |

Re: Wireless latency issues
Update:
I've just installed an old USB adapter and hey presto it gives me the internet speed i should have, no idea why the PCI card (which is new) is giving me grief? |
