Question Need help to set up Home network- im a noob

I need to figure out how to set up a home network asap, my wife and i are always fightin over the computer with the internet. I know there is a way to daisy chain computers together, but i know nothing about networking. I basically just want it to share the internet connection, but filesharing and that stuff would be fine too.

Heres what i am working with

main- internet computer:
Gateway quad-core 1.8 ghz, 4 GB Ram, Win Vista home premium, Wireless internet connection through a yagi USB antenna. (Wish I could just split the USB into 2 and run it to each).

2nd computer- need internet to it:
HP pentium 4 2.2 Ghz, 1.5 GB RAM, Win XP serv pack 2,

Both computers have the 1G ethernet cards, hope im sayin that right, and i do have ethernet cables and a linksys router with wireless.
Please help me to Fix my issue so my family can be happier, and i can get some R&R, Thanks, and sorry for this huge wall of text

as added note, yagi antenna does hook up through the USB ports so i cant just hook it to the router/ or a modem and run it to each computer.

Question Re: Need help to set up Home network- im a noob

i tried the tutorial along with gateways customer support, who told me to call another support number that charges 3 bucks a min... tutorials only cover Cable/ DSL internet connections where as my yagi antenna connects through USB. I am unable to find a router with USB internet capability.
