Hi,

Hi,

I am usuing this following set up:
MacBook
Netgear WRG614v3 Wifi router.
Linsys ADSL2 modem.

The internet is regular, on every time. Problem is that whenever I start Skype or BitTorrent, Netgear freezes. The signal is still there but no internet. If I disconnect from router and reconnect, it's not possible. So I have to reboot my router. (Note, reboot modem doesn't work. it's the router's problem.)

Please explain to me!

Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread when you have a new issue. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread.

Some things you can try here.

Update the firmware to the latest version available on the manufacturer's site.
Reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure.
Update the network drivers (wired and wireless) on your computer to the latest available.

Many times these measures will resolve a lot of intermittent issues.
