Problems with my internet and online gaming lookin for help.

Hi, I've been having this computer issue for a lil over a month now and its affectin everyone in my apartment. It only occurs when I play online games I think and it involves my computer crashing completely(black screen of death and looping last noise played), but also my router crashes every time this happens as well.

This has occured playing 3 online games(Age of Conan, World of Warcraft, Team Fortress 2) but has only occured once or twice in over 30 hours of play in AoC and WoW while it seems to happen every 45min-2 hours in team fortress. Sometimes I'll only be in team fortress for what feels like a few minutes before it happens. The router crashes as well whenever this happens and takes longer than normal to reboot. I have not been able to discern wether it's the router causing my game to crash when it loses internet or if my game is crashing and it's somehow causing the router to crash. I live in a city and have a cable internet that usually works well but sometimes goes bad.

I've tried reinstalling my operating system, reintalling drivers for my wireless card and nvidia drivers twice and neither have fixed the problem. I haven't correctly tried port forwarding on the router yet(I enabled Port forwarding for Steam, but I couldn't disable UPnP because my roomates use the internet a lot and I was afraid I'd screw up everything exept steam. I'm not very internet savvy and I'm only fairly familiar with my computer.

I have a Gateway P-7811FX that runs Age of Conan on full at 20 fps, or medium-high at 60fps, and team fortress doesn't have near these requirements. I'm not quite sure if it's anything to do with my videocard or not.

Our router is a D-link 628 i believe. I dont know about router log messages but i can post it if it will help. stuff like

This is really fustrating and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. (oh and our router's network name is Turd Furgeson btw) I'm a new user so if I've messed up some kind of protocol or what sorry but I'm not quite sure how this all works.

more info: One of my roomates is on a macbook, other on hp laptop. 3 of the 4 of us use n type messaging while the other uses g.

I'm not sure if this is a hardware problem or a software problem or if it's my comp or the network that's doing it. Any help at all would be appreciated.
