Hey guys and geeks.
Now I have a big problem that I have worked with for several months (without finding a solution) But the problem is @ my work there are alot of computers (around 80) all running windows xp (or most of them at least) - and there is no internet on any of them. The network properties is assigned manually and have these settings: IP: 10.3.100.xxx Mask: 255.192.0.0 Gateway: 10.0.0.0 DNS 10.0.0.6 Now I know the only thing I have to do is to change the gateway to 10.0.0.6 - and thats the only thing to get internet working But now comes the big problem: You have to be logged in as an administrator to change the gateway via network connections (In control panel) and I've tried several command prompt commands with no luck (Access denied) So my question is: Is there ANY way to bypass the administrator problem I have so I can change the gateway? Please - really need your help geeks

Re: Need help from a big geek. (you must be one if you can solve this)
Sorry but Password help is against the forum rules.
Bypassing Admin protections is also a good way to get fired, And yes they can figure out who did it very easily. |
