do i need a network switch?

I have a home network where in the study we have a modem and router. On the wall we have 12 ethernet connections that go to each room, so i can go from the router into the ethernet connection on the wall in the study and then in my room run another ethernet connection from the wall to my xbox 360.

I only have 1 connection in my room but i really want to have my PS3 and 360 connected by ethernet at the same time so i don't need to keep swapping them over and just wondering what i need to do this?

do i need something like http://umart.com.au/pro/products_lis...d=2&sid=18540?

thanks.

Re: do i need a network switch?

I was unable to follow the link you provided. In any case, all you should need is a small 4 or 5 port ethernet switch. These can be had relatively inexpensively.
