LAN Bandwidth and speed q
Hello all
 I have a small home network at home with two main computers (desktop and a notebook) are linked through a Linksys router. I was hoping someone could help me understand how fast should file transfer be between these computers (both running Win 7 beta) and what are the main bottlenecks of such a network. The desktop has a gigabit ethernet card and is connected to the router (Linksys Wireless-G ADSL [wag354g v.2]) through cable, while the notebook (Vaio SZ 4 series) is connected through wireless. At the moment my file transfer rate is about 2MB/sec. This is ok, and I am not complaining, just would like to know if this is fast, slow or average and whether there is anything I can do to make it any faster. Any help is much appreciated;  K.
