Mac OS X Unable to Network with Windows

I have a Windows network called WORKGROUP at home, within my home wireless router. All of the PCs are able to view each other's shared folders and printers perfectly well.

My Macbook however, cannot view any of the computers on the network, or even the "WORKGROUP" domain itself.

I have tried the method where you change your WINS settings in the Network configuration area, however nothing shows up in the dropdown for the workgroup, and adding "WORKGROUP" doesn't work either.

I have File Sharing set up, with SMB, and the other computers can view my Mac's shared files, the Mac is just unable to view anything on the network.

I am running the latest build of Mac OS X (10.5.6) and it is a new model Macbook Pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have been looking for a solution on the internet for weeks and haven't found anything.
