One computer ruins it for everyone
Our network is used only for internet,
we have 2 desktop pcs 2 laptops, PS3, 360, and 2 wii's usually connected. I've had a lot of 'local access only' and network dropout problems over the past 2 days so I went and got a new router, set it all up and everything works fine, but whenever one of the desktop pcs connects (running vista) after a short time, everyone gets disconnected from the network and it can no longer be found. If I restart the router and dont connect that one desktop, everything seems to be fine... what could cause one computer to shut down the network? he isnt using and filesharing programs or anything but a browser. |
