VPN Connection Issues

Hi there,
My clients run remote access to their server shares as they tend to be out on the road alot of the time.

5 of the users work fine and we never really hear or any problems.

1 User has constant issues with connection to the server shares, and the mapped drives can be disconnected as soon as 10 seconds of opening the VPN.

Then to get the mapped drives connect again, and long and tidious process needs to be taken out.

I can ping the server although using explorer I can not actually contact it, and the emails on the exchange server work completely fine.

It would appear that the authencation with the server seems to be lost. So disconnected drives need to be properly removed from explorer. Start | Run and \\server needs to be entered. This command does not always work first time. 10-15 tries is about normal. This will offer the chance to enter in his username and login details. again needing 10-15 chances to finally connect.

Once the the authencation is complete the connection to the server will go through and the mapped drives .bat file can be run and connection will stay up until a reboot when the process will start over again.

The connection to the office is not the best, we are upgrading it soon. But I dont think that this can be a issue as 5 other users do not expirence the same issue.

Any thoughts?
