Re: Internet Connection Not Working, Need help ASAP, thanks
Longer version
My old HDD died so I bought a new one I installed 32Bit Vista Ultimate and installed all the necessary drivers for motherboard etc. I then Tried to use the installation disc to connect my wirless adapter to my router and it kept giving me an error "error not important just said make sure everything is connected up etc". I then went on the "Help" option on my Set up disc and found that apparently The computer is somehow unaware that this is a network adapter and I need to enable something in my "wireless network connection" I then went to find the "Wireless network connection" and to my surprise I only had a "Local area Connection" Can anyone help me find out how to get my "Wireless area connection" back? |

What's the exact make/model of the machine or motherboard? I'm guessing this is an add-on wireless card, the make and exact model of that as well.
I suspect the basic issue is you haven't installed the wireless drivers.
