Mozilla works fine but AIM and Azureus don't

Hi, like the title states, my browsers work completely fine but when I try to connect with AIM and Azureus they don't establish connections. I also have the latest versions of all 3 programs. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

are you using a router, you may have to forward the ports for both programs.

yes I accept the above replay ..If you have a router or a gateway you have to do the portforwarding ...You can check with this link http://portforward.com/cports.htm

I'm not using a router and I'm directly plugged into the modem. No wireless in this machine.

What is the make and model of your modem, and who is your ISP. Also check your firewall settings you may have to create an exception for the two programs.
