Networking question...

I have a main box running Windows XP pro and an Acer laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium. I connect wirelessly on the laptop to the internet through a TRENDnet 637AP plugged into the XP box. I want to know the exact steps for sharing a folder and a printer on the XP box with the laptop acroos the network. I have an idea as to how to go about it but I would rather follow steps patterned after my exact situation rather than experiment. If you need more information please let me know.

All computers you want to access need to be on the same workgroup.
you need to decide which drives, folders, or files you want to share.
to access another computer you will be asked for a username, and password
