Internet not working on TP-Link wireless router

My DSL Connection

1mb connection using a white colored Shiro ADSL Model

My Wireless Router

TP-Link TL-WR641G/TL-WR642G

Problem

Normally my internet works fine. Today I bought this router and connected it according to the instructions given in the guide. I connected one end of the LAN wire to the WAN port on the Wireless Router and the other end to the ADSL Modem. Secondly connected one end of another LAN wire to the LAN Card on my PC and other end in one of the LAN ports on the wireless router. In short all done according to the instructions in the instruction guide.

Now I entered 192.168.1.1 in the internet explorer and again followed all the instructions given in the guide but even after that internet does not works. I even selected other options (there were three PPPoE, Dynamic IP and Static IP). Choose all three(except Static IP where it asks me for IP address and Subnet Mask which I dont know). Entered correct username and password under PPPoE but still no luck.

What am I doing wrong and what is the solution?
I am sure most of you must be thinking that I should get my IP address and Subnet mask from my ISP and enter it under the 'Static IP' choice but when I am not using the router, my settings are to detect IP address and other stuff automatically i.e. I have not assigned any predefined IPs/Subnets etc

Re: Internet not working on TP-Link wireless router

Well, the description white colored Shiro ADSL Model doesn't really convey any useful information. What's the exact model number from the label on this device?

I'd like to see the following information when directly connected to the modem.

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:

In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command:

Note that there is a space before the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the / in the following command.

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter to copy the contents to the clipboard.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
