Network Intergration
Hi guys,
Have just changed how our systems operate at work and would like some help on intergrating our new network. The company i work for provides remotley monitered security (CCTV) systems and have just changed from receiving the images via ISDN to ADSL. The ADSL is provided from a ISP who supply all routers pre-configured and with the admin menus passworded to prevent customer(myself included) access. The whole network runs over a MPLS IP VPN system where our equipment located on site has to be assigned an IP address from a limited range, dictated by the IP of the router, so our monitoring station PC can communicate to said equipment and visa-versa. The problem comes when our customers wish to access the equipment over thier local network as previously our ISDN terminal adaptors connected to the equipments serial port and we gave the equipment a IP address, static only, from thier range and connected it to their network switch. Now the network port connects to the ISPs router and I am unsure what I would need to connect it both phsically and with regards to the IP ranges will be completely seperate. Many thanks in advance Baz |
