Change from Wireless G to N

I want to change our wireless network from G to N, but am not sure what I need to do in order to get this done. Is it as simple as getting a Wireless n router and then a wireless n network card for my computer and setting it up, or do I need to see if our wireless carrier offers wireless n? I'm not sure what I need to do to get this going

all you need to do is to change out the cards and router.

Wireless has nothing to do with your ISP, it's your local equipment that will determine what kind of wireless capability you have.

Ok, next question: What's a decent (although not really expensive) router and PCI card that's wireless n and work with Windows Vista 32-bit?

Next question: After I get the router and a wireless-n card, how do I setup the router? Do I need my current router that's from AT&T or can I use just the new one?

If you have a modem/router, you'll either need another plain modem, or you can configure that modem/router in bridge mode to eliminate it's routing functions.

The make/model of the modem would be useful here.
