wireless network disconnect
I was using a linksys wireless G USB adapter to connect to internet. One day it stopped after a good year of no problems. I have a cable modem connecting to a Linksys (BEFW11s4 v2) Router. Right now I have wired this computer into the router to connect to internet. But my wireless cannot find a wirelss network to connect to. I see the green light on the USB blinking all the time but no luck. It appears that my Linksys router is not broadcasting a wireless signal (I think). I think my wireless connection is configured right on my computer but it doesn't find any wireless networks to connect to. In the past i know it would find my neighbours wireless networks but now nothing. Is it my router or wireless setup??

Re: wireless network disconnect
It sounds like your USB adapter has failed. The fact that you can't see your neighbours wireless now points towards your USB adapter. Try removing the drivers for your USB adapter and then reload it or if there is a firmware update... update your firmware.
