I have a 1.5Mbps ADSL connection (no wireless router, direct connection). Until yesterday it was downloading nicely at around 160Kbps. Today it is going at a max of 11Kbps, which is painfully slow for a 4.8GB file!
I have no idea what I did to make it go so slow. My ISP hasn't shaped my connection. Any idea what went wrong so I can fix it? Thanks

Re: Very slow internet speed
Usually the ISP will cap you if you excessively download large files using a standard speed line(low value). Call your ISP and ask then if they cap your downloading/uploading.
