[SOLVED] Home Network Issues

On my home network I have a windows 2000 machine, with printer, and a xp machine that were connected directly. Recently I purchased a Belkin wireless G router. The above mentioned machines cable into the router and work same as before. My son has a WII that conects no problem to internet wireless through the router. Recently he bought a HP wireless laptop with Microsoft Vista. We got it to connect to the internet through the router but it cant find the other computers or printer on the network. I can ping the other machines from this laptop and get a response but cant map to them or find the printer on the network.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Home Network Issues

My son got it to work. First on the wireless connection he could see the xp machine and the printer. Printer is physically attached to 2000 machine. When he tried to print xp machine popped message that it couldn't communicate with printer. Not sure what he did to get 2000 machine to show up but think it was a wireless connection on his vista machine. I know when he first got his laptop we had a problem getting it to connect to the router, his wii connected like it had always been there. That issue was vista security and drivers.

Thanks for the help.
