hi all friends i want help from all about access point at home
hi all friends i see this site at google and very happy to know about this site and congratulate the owner that he make such a wonderfull site
well i tell u about my problem i have dsl mobem at home and i want to conect it with access point to access wirless in all home i have four rooms in two room i get wirless in two not i put a linksys acces point for other two room and conect it with wire from modem to access but i want to conect access point through modem wirless is it possible.that i no need the cable to conect access point can some one help ,me i mean to say that in two rooms my modem wirless work and other two room access point i want to give just power to access point and confuger it that i no need of cable from modem to access point m waiting for ur answers plz if u help me send me answer at mail kashif_ali525@yahoo.com m thankfull to u all

We don't do email support here, but I'll answer here.
You need a wireless bridge. If you have a Linksys router, many of their models are compatible with 3rd party firmware such as DD-WRT, which offers wireless bridge capability.

thanx bro can u plz tell me all proceedure how i conect bec as i told m new and i dnt have experience so plz can u tell me in detail i have netgear N series modem and Linksys Wirless G VPN ROUTER with Range booster
i want to conect them at my home at first floor i want to put access point and at down netgear modem and linksys vpn router with modem and router i have 4 4 ports from modem i give one to vpn router my router is working now at down now can u hel me wat model i put frist floor which is cover my all first floor i have 5 room at first floor and i want to put 2 access point or is it possible that one cover all is there any powerfull access point or two works plz tell me the good model which cover all my rooms plz tell me in detail how i confuger it and is it possible my access point works without conecting cable with modem or vpn router through wirless if it is how i confuger them plz tell me as soon as possible i realy thank full to all i am waiting thanx all and johnwill for information hope u help me again |
