Two Internet Connections
We have a T1 connection at the moment and we're looking of getting Fiber connection (as an additional Internet connection). Current network setup is T1 Router > Switch VLAN ( Pix 605e & Linksys Router (Wireless for guest) )
PIX 605e Ethernet (0) connects to Guest VLAN PIX 605e Ethernet (1) connects to Default VLAN (Internal Network) Now with the additional Internet connection I would think I just plug the rj45 connection to Guest VLAN and configure the firewall for additional "Interface" and enter the IP address of the new fiber Internet subscription. I would assume they'll give me an rj45 connection not another router. Someone suggested getting a Barracuda but that means I would have to replace my firewall (as recommended) and I don't want to do that. Anyone has any suggestions? Thanks! RedRocket |
