Re: We are having a continual problem with our network traffic freezing

I wonder if my problem is similar..

A few weeks ago, I got a 3386-ENT for the office. It's firmware is the current version 8.7.4 R6. I have noticed it stops working once, sometimes twice a day. Usually in the afternoon/late evening. When it stops working, I mean that no one can surf the internet. I can't ping or telnet into the 3386. If I pull the power from the back of the unit and plug it back in, the internet immediately starts working again. And I can telnet into it. I see on weekends when no one is in the office this doesn't happen. So I get the feeling something during the work days is causing the problems. But I don't have a clue as to what. We don't have a complicated setup as far as the router goes. I hooked up our previous Netopia R9100 and I don't get this problem. Tech support said to said the router back for a replacement, which I did, but the replacement did the same thing. But I though I would ask if anyone had heard of this sort of thing happening.

Re: We are having a continual problem with our network traffic freezing

Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread when you have a new issue. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread.

I've created a new thread for your issue here.

Note: You will need to post complete details of your configuration and your specific issue in this new thread for us to help you.

Thanks for your cooperation.
