Setting up shared internet connection with MAC and PC
hello, i've never used a mac before in my life and a friend has asked me to setup their PC and MAC for internet access via current broadband connection. I'm not sure the best way to go about it, and so would appreciate some help if you have the time.
------------------------------------- Here is what they have: a Windows XP PC connected to the internet via USB broadband modem an iMAC with OS X Leopard a netgear wireless router --------------------------------------- I'm wondering rather than setting up ICS on the PC if its feasible/better to have the Broadband modem connected to the Netgear router, and have both the PC and MAC connected to the router also for their internetting purposes? Thank you for any advice |
