Need Advice Setting Up Remote Wireless Network
I need some advice about if what I am thinking will work.
I have a Linksys wireless router hooked up to DSL in my house, and I have a office outside my house that I want internet in also. I don't want to run any wires outside. So I was wondering if I could use a 3com officeconnect wireless access point to recieve the wireless signal in my office and then connect it to a switch to give me internet to my computers in my office. If this will not work please tell me what can and hopefully on a budget. Thanks |

Re: Need Advice Setting Up Remote Wireless Network
Well, since we don't know the capabilities of that 3COM device, that's hard to say. You need a wireless bridge, and perhaps some hi-gain antennas, depending on the exact layout of the two locations.
