ppoe password on WRT150N router
Hello ,
How can i get my PPPOE saved password on the router? I tried to telnet the router on cmd but i always get this error : " HTTP/1.0 400 Bad Request Server: httpd Date: Sun, 26 Oct 2008 02:32:14 GMT Content-Type: text/html Connection: close <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>400 Bad Request</TITLE></HEAD> <BODY BGCOLOR="#cc9999"><H4>400 Bad Request</H4> No request found. </BODY></HTML> Connection to host lost. " , i wanted to telnet the router using cmd so i can get it using "nvram get pppoe_passwd" command but i couldn't. Please help , i lost my PPPOE password and it takes alot of time if i call the ISP to retrieve it back, so please advice...

Re: ppoe password on WRT150N router
Not sure why you are using telnet commands??
I would suggest the web interface as the telnet shells are usually limited and the web interface is the primary way of configuring these devices. I would also suggest you check the firmware version and update it to the most current. On the first page of the web interface, 192.168.1.1, you should see the options for the connection type, they usually default to DCHP, you can then drop the menu and choose PPPoE and then enter the user name and password. At the bottom of the menu, there should be a save button. JamesO |

Re: ppoe password on WRT150N router
We don't provide any help with lost passwords or getting around password protection. Obviously, we can't determine the real intent here, so our policy is to abstain from any assistance in these matters.
