Wireless Network, FTP Server for outside access

I have a wireless network, with WEP security. My main computer (Computer 1) is hard-wired to the internet through the router and modem. I have another computer (Computer 2) that connects to the internet through a wireless network card.

What I would like to do is set up Computer 2 to be an FTP server that can be accessed by users outside of my home network (using a username and password combo). I am using Windows XP with a LinkSys wireless router.

Can someone recommend an FTP server program that will work like this, and help me with the settings such that Computer 2 can be accessed as an FTP server without access to Computer 1?

I was able to sort of make this work already, but not without every computer (Computer 1, plus any laptops I have connected through my wireless network) having to log in through the FTP Server Software, which is extremely annoying.

Thank you very much for your help!

Re: Wireless Network, FTP Server for outside access

Personally, I use FileZilla for an FTP server.

I'm a bit confused about why you have to do anything locally unless you want to actually use the FTP from a different local machine. I have an FTP server running on a system here, and I don't even think about it unless I want to access it when I'm on the road. There is no requirement to use it locally, I just use standard file sharing.
