What network devices can be used to address security concerns 5. A particular employee generates large volumes of network traffic and it has been a problem in the past what do you recommend for the new network to manage network congestion create a document showing how in general this network might be designed Case project 6-1 Designing a wireless network for roaming team members Thomas Jefferson community college uses a team approach for managing the financial resources of the college. The team members primarily work in the administration building, which houses the president’s office, human resources, and payroll. Accounting, development, and the main IT office. Each area uses teams and team members who are often mobile going between work areas. For example the payroll supervisor is on both the payroll team and the human resources team she also often attends meetings in the accounting area and serves as a backup accounting supervisor in another example the IT manager of applications development spends equal amounts of time in the presidents human resources payroll accounting development and IT areas Currently it is difficult for any team member to access networked computer resources when they are not in the office 1. How would you design a wireless networking alternative? 2. Create a diagram to help upper management understand the wireless network recommendation The original network is connected to a network in the student services building only via old dial up modem connections in an access server because a river separates the building DSL and cable modem options are not available in this area 3. what wireless alternatives are available and which do you recommend The tasty pelican serves up to 5 customers per evening they want to speed up the order process by equipping the wait staff with handheld devices also have an adjoining coffee shop and they want to offer public wireless internet in the coffee shop 4. what wireless options do you recommend for the restaurant and coffee shop 5.What security measures are available for wireless solutions that might be applied to the Thomas Jefferson community College and the tasty pelican designs? if your in houston email me easier for me to get you your money emailaddressrequired@yahoo.com Last edited by phoqus; 10-23-2008 at 11:45 AM. |
