[SOLVED] Lappy wifi won't connect in vista
sup all i have Gateway P-170L and i am trying to connect to my wifi
i have belkin N1 router that i am using as a access point my wifi network setting are SSID : desiking@home.com Security mode : WPA-PSK(no server ) Authentication : WPA-PSK Encryption Technique : TKIP Wireless channel : 9 and a 504 bits WPA key the problem i am having is i can't get my lappy to connect to the network no matter what i do i can connect fine with a windows XP lappy just this one is being a pain in the you know what i tried manual connecting to it the way i did it with a xp one and nothing happens i can't figer out what i am doing wrong i even tried putting the ssid on since i have it hidden and taking of the security and stile i cant even see it plz help if you need anymore info plz let me know oh and btw i have never gotten the wifi working on this lappy i was using xp before i just reformatted it back to vista and have never even tried connecting it to a wifi network. |
