internet connection monitor?
well i get internet via a wireless isp. and its constantly offline. i was wondering if there is a program out there that is constantly checking for a connection every couple of minutes or so. and it would be a plus if it could keep a log of when its connected and not. that way i can take it to my isp with proof that i loose connection for many hours a day.
if it helps i have a wireless connection throughout my home, only 2 computers but they are still offline even if use an ethernet cable. i think that the isp problem is that he has way too much security (yes that is possible when you cant even get into your own system). only his routers work with his wireless setup. he doesnt allow us to use our own router and i have to call him every time i want to add another computer to our wireless network or it wont work |
