Hi for the past few days iv been trying to portforward my zylex p-660r-d1 router to play a server on flight simulator 2004. I have set up a static ip correctly (i think) and port forwarded all the needed ports yet still i cant see the server in the list. Also when i go to www.canyouseeme.com it says the ports are closed. Its weird because sometimes i can access the server and sometimes it just doesnt appear at alliv tried disabling my firewalls and still it doesnt work (im on vista).
Can anyone help me to try and find out why im having these problems and maybe help me portforward this router correctly if iv done it wrong thnx. heres an example of the way i setup my portforward: # active service name start port end port server ip 1 Tick FlightSimulator 6073 6073 (my Static ip) also here a pic of my routers home page: ![]() (There is no menu for the submenu telnet) Last edited by louisprit; 09-22-2008 at 04:28 PM. |

Re: Portforwarding trouble?
If they show up as closed, they're forwarded, but the application isn't responding. Maybe you're looking in the wrong place?

Re: Portforwarding trouble?
How are you running a "port check"? Can you post a screen shot of testing the ports with ShieldsUp?
To post a screen shot of the active window, hold the Alt key and press the PrtScn key. Open the Windows PAINT application and Paste the screen shot. You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file. To upload it to TSG, open the full reply window and use the Manage Attachments button to upload it here.
