Networking to a printer question...
Ok theres a big laser Hp office laser printer connected to a wireless basic 4 port router via network cable, now what is the procedure inorder for a laptop to print to that printer? The laptop does currentyl connected to the internet wirelessly to that same router mentioned. Thanks...
BTW the OS's are Windows xp Home. |

u need to setup an ip address in the printer . ping it with ur desktop and add it in XP using add printer remote printer (or something like this)

HP has a installation wizard that will step you through the installation of the print drivers and connecting to the printer. I'd try that first.
