router entering into boot mode
I am having a cisco 1600 series router in my network. I connected the router to the pc with a rollover cable. When i opened a new hyperterminal connection in the pc and switch on the router, after sometime it is showing "router<boot>" prompt. I have issued the following commands to rectify the problem. But no use when rebooted
router(boot)#configure terminal. router(boot)(config)#config-register 0x2102 router(boot)(config)#end router(boot)#reload Save? [yes/no]: no Proceed with reload? [confirm] Plz suggest solution. Thanks in advance. |
