Wifi signal problem
Hi,
From the last 2 years I have been receiving a wifi signal from one end of the builiding to the other, last month, a new security system was installed in the unit next to me and since then I am not getting a signal in some places. Is there any way to get around this? Could it be possible that the new security system is interrupting the signal? Help appreciated. Thank You |

Re: Wifi signal problem
sounds like the security system is causing the problem. You may need to purchase something to extend your wireless range. You have options from a new antenna on the router to signal boosters. You can also try changing the wireless channel on the router and see if it helps.

Re: Wifi signal problem
if the security system has required that new metal cabinets be built or perhaps are using similar frequencies for wireless links as used on your system , then it's quite possible ..
Try changing the frequencies that you use to another channel, see if any of them give you a better coverage ..
