Re: No Internet Connection Through Router
Tell me if I understand correctly, you can connect to the internet if and only if you connect the modem directly to your computer.
Also, the ipconfig that you post is when you're connecting your pc and modem directly. Am I right? From my understanding about comcast connection, you need to clone the MAC address for your router. You will need to get the MAC address of your pc network card and enter it in the clone MAC address option in the router. Yes, you need to enter 00-11-D8-87-57-C3 in your router's clone mac address option. After that go to your router's status page do a release and renew, this should solve it. |

Re: No Internet Connection Through Router
Reset the router to factory defaults by holding the reset button down for 15 seconds with power on.
When the computer is completely booted, let's see this. Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt: In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here. If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
