Samsung Security Camera Networking Problem
Hello I am having trouble with networking and understanding the directions for my Samsung Ez view remote monitoring video surveillance systm. SMO-151QN. I have it all set up in my office and when I am in the office I can access all the cameras from my computers in the office. My question is how do I view the cameras from my home computer to monitor activity at the office. I don't quite understand the setup instructions in the manual. i have it set on a static network as of right now. Thanks!

Re: Samsung Security Camera Networking Problem
You'll need to install the software on your home PC (assuming the Samsung uses its own monitoring software).
Also you'll probably need to set up port forwarding in your work router to direct to your office PC. From home you'll need to input the IP number for your work router. That's the condensed version. What bit are you getting stuck at ? |
