[SOLVED] Exchange setup over VPN?
Hey Guys,
We've just had a VPN to our server set up, our building's I.T. team has given us an external IP address. Using "create a new connection" in windows then choosing VPN works with the username and password they gave us... This gives you an ip address on a different subnet but allows you to ping the server, (though \\server doesnt work to access it's files?) We have also been given several ports (25, 80, 443, 990, 999,3389, 5678) which have been forwarded to our server's internal IP. How do we set up exchange on this system? (exchange 2003 resides on our main server called "server") Im guessing one of those ports needs to point to exchange so that people can access it by entering something like 81.149.138.50:5678 ? New to VPNs so any help would be great thanks, Leigh |
