wireless networking
i have just installed a wireless g usb network adapter on my computer,but it will not connect using windows 98, any ideas.

Is it compatible with your computer and OS? Is your computer in the same room as any cordless phones that may interfere with the adapter?

I'm not sure that would work under win98. The reason being, is that win98 didn't support USB until win98 second edition. (do you have this? check under system properties via control panel) Also, wireless wasn't out then so I doubt win98 supports it naitivily. This would all depend on drivers released by the manufacturer.

W98SE will support some wireless, but the adapter must have the W98 wireless drivers, many current ones don't.
