Two Computers, One Program
My daughter has a small business where she would like to have two computer use the same program. The computers are both connected to the same router. We would like to allow both computers to access the same program and make changes using both computers and have the changes show up on both computers. Do I have to set one up as a server to do this? If so, how.

Re: Two Computers, One Program
first you need to check the license of the software to see if you can legally do this. Normally just keep the datafiles in a network location and have both computers access it. Doing it this way could depend upon the software package.

Re: Two Computers, One Program
i believe you would have to build a home server using server software...computers don't play well with each other when it comes to executing software from one to the other...there may be a way with a router...but i've never heard of one...of course i have no experience with third party firmware for routers...
