DNS Troubleshooting
HI All,
I have a question about the DNS (Domain name service).. When David tries to to ping www.yahoo.com he gets “Unknown host”. How will you verify whether it’s a DNS problem or not? In case if it’s a DNS issue how will you troubleshoot? Thanks in advance.. Winston |

Can he ping any site by URL?
Let's try replacing your DNS server. Follow the instructions at OpenDNS for Windows and configure to use OpenDNS for your DNS server. See if that makes a difference.
