Wireless Disabled
I have a Compaq Presario V6000 running Microsoft Windows XP. When I tried to establish a wireless connection, I got messages that my wireless connection was either Off or Disabled, depending on the position of the switch on the lower front of the computer. The light always stayed amber, never blue.
How do I go from Enabled to Disabled? I looked up the Help function, and it said something about a Function key, but it didn't say which one and nothing on the Function keys looks like a Wireless connection icon. It said to find which key to look in the Manual. We called our local computer support guy, and he said the manual he had for our computer didn't have anything in it about which Function key enables the wireless. |
