Belkin F5D9050 issues with XP-64
Hey folks,
I am having trouble getting the Belkin F5D9050 wireless USB adapter to be picked up on XP64 at the moment. I have downloaded a driver package off of Belkin's website in the hopes of fixing the issue, however, all it does is install the GUI for their network management. the device tiself is still being picked up as an unknown USB device in "Device Manager" and there is also no Wireless Network Connection symbol present int he "Network Connections" window. Has anybody got any ideas as to how to fix the problem, or has anyone ever come across this one before? |

Re: Belkin F5D9050 issues with XP-64
This is actually a pretty common issue. There are many issues finding working drivers for XP and Vista 64 bit versions, you seem to be at the same stage.
![]() You need to find a wireless adapter that is specifically compatible with your environment. I'd also search around for reviews about the model and make sure that folks are actually able to get it working in the 64 bit environment.
