Networking, and everything
Okay, so to start off with my computer was completley messed up so i tried to do a dell restore.
My mom decided to run a clean install cd we orderded also BTW: Dell demension desktop computer expired warranty.... So she ran it, computer is completly clean it came with no driver installs or anything so right now, my cd/rom driver reads the xp setup disk only i dunno why only that, i try to connection to the internet, but my wireless network card wont read, and finally i go under my connections and not even the LAN connection is there. My computer is completely messed up and i don't know how to fix it can anyone please help me. |

You need to get the drivers for your wireless card. Did the Dell come with the wireless as standard? If yes, then head over to the Dell website to get the drivers. knowing the model number of the Dell and the wirless network card will help you here.

Go to the linksys website and download the drivers onto a USB drive or something and move it to the Dell for installation.

But you can still get a USB stick in it to transfer the drivers you download from another computer with internet access.
