Problem with USB wireless internet adapter
When using my usb adapter to access the internet using wireless after a few hours when left to download it disconnects from the internet for no apparent reason. I have tried updating the driver but this has no affect. I was wondering if there were any settings that could make my adapter do this ? I am currently using windows vista SP1.
Thanks in advance |

Re: Problem with USB wireless internet adapter
You might look at the power saving configuration. Many adapters will disconnect if the machine goes into standby. While they're supposed to connect when you come out of standby, that assumes the drivers are correctly written. If possible, change the power characteristics for the networking to not save power in standby.
